Oji Holdings Corporation would like to announce that we have decided to establish a manufacturing company of HiPLE-ACE® heavy-duty corrugated container in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh state in India.
1. Packaging Business in Southeast Asia and India
Oji Group set “Further expansion of overseas business” as one of the major pillars to strive towards the realization of an innovative value-creating company. We are especially promoting capturing package demand in Southeast Asia and India which economy has been growing rapidly. In India, we have already established Oji JK Packaging Private Limited and started the production of corrugated container in its factory in Neemrana, Rahjastan state in July, 2014 as our first manufacturing site. The new company will be our second manufacturing site of packaging in India and 24th in Southeast Asia and India including those under construction and preparation.
2. Objectives of New Company
1) Corresponding with the increase of the export of motorcycle and parts from India
With the steady growth of motorcycle production in India, the export of motorcycle and parts to neighboring countries are also increasing. We will correspond with the packaging demand of these, providing high quality product and services based on our technology and experience obtained in Japan and other area.
2) Synergy effect with Oji JK Packaging
The supply of the corrugated sheet from Oji JK Packaging enables the new company to provide good quality control and services to the customers. In addition, the new company will be utilized as distribution base of the corrugated container of Oji JK Packaging for quick delivery upon the request of the customers.
